: About :

The O.S. Project is a series created and written by Nicholas Armitt, spanning between both books and YouTube videos. The story follows the character of Noah Coleman and his involvement in the O.S. Project.

: Blurb :

'When ex-con Noah Coleman loses his memory after an unknown incident, he gets sentenced to the Ocean Cliff Psychiatric Hospital for a crime he is not allowed to know. He manages to adapt to his new life well until the year anniversary of his stay approaches. From new staff to stalking butterflies, suspicion arrives, but once the criminal population starts to disappear without a trace, Noah no longer remains compliant. He discovers the story of MK-Ultra, and it seems as though this has happened before.'

: Background :

This series was originally created in 2018, by Nicholas Armitt and his best friend Ellie Cooper, following the release of the musical 'The Greatest Showman'. Whilst they were both still teenagers, Cooper showed the musical's soundtrack to Armitt, stating that the opening songs lyrics sounded 'creepy'. So during their lunch break, they created an idea for a story based off of the movie's music (basing the main plot off of the song 'The Other Side'.

Over the next 3 years, they worked together (not on their school work) on their series titled 'A Guide to the JDC'. It was quite different to the series as we know it today, but kept several through lines - most knowingly 'The Other Side' being a mind control drug that 'takes your breath and steals your mind.'

: YouTube Series :

After the publication of the first book, The O.S. Project has featured on Nicholas Armitt's YouTube channel in the form of short teasers. The videos serve as a 'prequal' to the original story, as well as hosting extras that did not fit into the books themselves.
